Hello my name is Julia Rivera and I'm so happy to have competed in Skokie Idol. Participating in this contest gave me so much joy. I wanted to do this contest to get that feeling of performing on stage. I have always loved music since I was little. I enjoy music from all genres and wish to be able to sing more in my future.

Dreaming of You

I wanted to sing the song from the artist that has inspired me the most. Selena Quintanilla. She was a turning point in Latin music throughout the world, and accomplished extraordinary things at such a young age. I wanted to honor her by singing a personal favorite.
