What's better than a great pianist who's also a terrific singer and entertainer?  Two great pianists, of course!  Mick Archer and John Talmadge are on a mission to create something unique in the realm of Blues.  As a team, the create a very powerful entertainment experience that sounds as big as a full band.


Mick Archer has toured the country and the world as sideman, band leader and a solo act.  He was one of the originators of the dueling piano concept at The Baha Beach Club in the early 90's, bringing his unique humor and a blues and roots rock sensibility to his music.  He is a life-time pro musician who's Blues Rock band KILLIN' FLOOR appears in Dean Milano's book Chicago Music Scene: 1960's - 70's, and was the Blues piano teacher at Old Town School of Folk Music.  He writes for Chicago Jazz Magazine.




John Talmadge is a highly experienced Blues and Jazz musician who incorporates classic and roots rock, pop and and country into his playing and singing.  His authentick blues/soul sound appeals to audiences in many diverse venues.  He was music director at Hugo's for 10 years and worked a long stretch as sideman at The Backroom.
